Well, I got sick this weekend, and it hit me hard this morning. I stayed home sick… What a boring day. I tried to keep myself entertained by watching TV and doing stuff on my computer while catching rest here and there. I’m feeling a little better. I think I need a humidifier. The air seems to make my throat dry and makes my coughing feel more itchy and irritating.

I’ll probably stay home again tomorrow, even though I’d rather go into the office to keep myself busy. I’ve missed listening to my podcasts during my commute. I guess I can listen to them now.

I’ve been working on our family website, photos, and videos. I found that people have spammed our family forum and have loaded the forum with over 250,000 posts. Wow, that sucks. Hopefully I can figure out how to clean it up.

I bought a Drobo (www.drobo.com). I needed it to store all the videos we’ve been taking recently. The Drobo is a very nice device. No hassle with managing it and I like the fact that it’s doing a RAID 5 kind of backup on the harddisks.

I’m also trying out Shutterfly since my cousin works there. I’m trying to figure out if it is a better place than Flickr to store photos. We also have photos on Photoworks, so we’ll see which site works best.

Well, I gotta get back to seeing if I can cleanup this forum.

I just found out that a friend of mine passed away last night. He caught a fever while in Manila, Philippines. Apparently, he went to bed and didn’t wake up. I don’t have any other detail at this point, but will find out more information tomorrow.

This is the first time that I can remember where a friend of mine near my age has passed away. I’m still sorting out my feelings on all this at this point.

Well, this is my first official blog. I’ve been keeping a video journal on my Mac, but decided to also start a blog too. I’m not too sure how much to share on the blog, but I figured I’d share my thoughts in blogging in general. I’ve always been interested in doing it, but wasn’t sure if people would find these things interesting. Anyways, I’ll give it a shot and we’ll see how it goes.
