There have been many exciting announcements this May showing that the pace of AI innovation isn’t just accelerating, it’s redefining the business landscape in real time. This week alone, we saw OpenAI roll out major enhancements to its Responses API, including remote Model Context Protocol support and integrated image generation. These aren’t incremental updates; they’re foundational changes that will allow organizations to build smarter, more transparent applications at scale.

Apple’s announcement that iOS 19 will open up its native AI models to developers is another inflection point. By making these capabilities available across the ecosystem, Apple is inviting a wave of new business process innovation that will touch every industry. We’ll hear more at WWDC in June.

At Google I/O 2025, they launched “AI Mode” for Search, powered by Gemini, and introduced Flow, a tool that’s set to change how we think about video creation and content.

These moves reinforce what I’m seeing across the board: AI is quickly becoming the connective tissue of business operations.

The winners in this new era will be those who can fuse advanced AI with business process excellence, rewarding those who don’t just automate, but elevate how work gets done. I believe the organizations that act decisively will define the next decade.

We’re not just watching the future unfold, we’re building it. Now is the time to lean in, experiment, and lead.
